Doron Furman’s mirror installation
Refers to the concept of Shifting: transfer, shifting, moving, changing, replacing –
A term that describes the act of shifting consciousness from the current reality to the desired reality.
Vertical mirrors are placed in a diagonal and repeated placement that causes the space to intensify, but also to be interrupted;
Creates a meeting between the viewers and the lighting and the space, an experience in which the viewer has an active part made possible by the movement of his body, broken down into a rhythm.
The mirrors that tend to reflect and also hide, they reveal in other ways the objects located in the space,
They create a sense of disorientation, and open a door to a large, local space that moves between selected and alternative realities.
